A homeowner in Stranocum recently contacted Lighthouse Locksmiths after losing the keys to their UPVC back door.

After arriving on site, the existing euro cylinder was opened using specialist non-destructive locksmith techniques, allowing access to the property without damaging the door or locking mechanism.

Because the original keys had been lost, a brand new euro cylinder was fitted and supplied with five new keys, ensuring the property was secure once again.

While on site, the customer also mentioned that their existing door handles had become loose, worn and bent over time. Measurements were taken and a replacement handle set was ordered.

On returning to complete the installation, another challenge appeared. The original fixing screws had become badly worn and could no longer be removed using normal tools. Specialist screw extraction equipment was used to remove the damaged screws safely before the new handles were fitted, leaving the door operating smoothly once again.

Whether you've lost your house keys, need your locks changed after moving home, require replacement UPVC door handles or simply need advice about improving your home security, Lighthouse Locksmiths provides a friendly, professional service across Stranocum, Ballymoney and the wider North Coast.
